The 3^rd Annual TRICARE Dental Program Workshop was held at Dragon Hills Lodge in Yong-san base on April 19^th.

   The most important item on the agenda this year was a change in the TRICARE contractor as of May 1^st, to MetLife from United Concordia.  The attendees were fully informed of major changes in TRICARE policy and coverage, and given the specific details of changes in the billing procedure.

   On-Post clinics’ dental staff and professionals took the attendees on an on-post dental clinic tour.  This gave the visitors a good opportunity to observe how strictly and thoroughly the clinics comply with American infection control standards.

   Our English Coordinator, Joyce Choi, attended the workshop. She said, “The TRICARE workshop has been providing more and more useful information every year.  After the workshop, I feel more confident helping TRICARE patients, knowing that my information is up to date.”
